Emergency exits management

An emergency exit is an exit created in a room, building or means of transport to enable rapid evacuation in the event of an incident.

Emergency exits may be a regulatory requirement, depending on building size and on the number and types of people that it receives. They are identified on the evacuation plans posted in buildings, with their own markings to differentiate them from standard doors.

Through the DEF Network, DOI can offer you centralised emergency exits management solutions (CEEMUs). Available in both autonomous and centralised forms, those units keep the emergency exits locked by means of safety locking devices (SLDs) and can be paired with video cameras for verification before opening a door.
